A 13-year-old boy has died in what gardaí described as a tragic accident in Carlow.
It is understood the boy was climbing a tree in a housing estate in the town yesterday morning when he fell and sustained fatal injuries.
Gardaí said the local coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination has been arranged.
