A man in his 30s is due to appear before a special sitting of Gorey District Court this morning facing fraud charges.
He was arrested in Waterford on Tuesday as part of Operation SKEIN on suspicion of money laundering for a criminal organisation.
He was held at Waterford Garda Station and is due before the court today.
Operation SKEIN investigates invoice redirect fraud or business email compromise along with the laundering of proceeds through accounts, which usually targets businesses online.
