A woman in her 40s has been arrested in Dublin following the discovery of a quantity of the painkiller drug, Diamorphine.
The woman was arrested after around 3kg of the drug was discovered when she was stopped and searched by gardaí as part of Operation Tara at Tyrconnell Road in Inchicore, shortly before 5pm yesterday.
The drugs are estimated to be worth €420,000.
The woman is being detained at Kevin Street Garda Station and can be held for up seven days.
