A young girl who was seen on CCTV walking alone in Castlewellan, Co Down in the early hours of this morning has been located safe and well.
Police in Northern Ireland had expressed concern for the safety of the child, who was seen in the Main Street area of the town at around 4.55am.
Police had expressed concern as while a number of hours had passed since the girl was seen, no missing persons report was filed to police.
PSNI Temporary Chief Inspector Adam Corner expressed thanks to all involved in helping to locate and support the child.
