An investigation is under way after the body of a man was discovered in a tent in Dublin city centre in the early hours of this morning.
The man was found at Loftus Lane, between Bolton Street and Parnell Street, at around 3am.
He was treated at the scene but was later pronounced dead.
The scene remains preserved this morning.
Gardaí said a post-mortem examination will be carried out, the results of which will determine the course of their investigation.
