Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man following the seizure of €100,000 worth of cannabis.
A premises was searched in the Ballymun area today and 5kg of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €100,000 was seized.
The joint operation between An Garda Síochána and Revenue was part of ongoing investigations targeting people suspected to be involved in an organised crime group operating in the Ballymun area.
The man, aged in his 30s, is being detained at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
