Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted at a business premises last night.
The incident happened at about 9.30pm in the Irishtown area of the Co Tipperary town.
A man in his early 20s was brought to Tipperary University Hospital to be treated for injuries, which gardaí have described as serious but non-life threatening.
Two men in their 30s were arrested at the scene and are being held at Clonmel Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
