An investigation is under way into the death of a man whose body was found in Buncrana, Co Donegal.
The man's body was found in a laneway behind a row of houses near Knockalla Drive at 7.30pm yesterday evening.
Gardaí have said that they are investigating the "unexplained circumstances" surrounding the death of the man, who was aged in his 50s.
The body remained at the scene overnight and the area remains sealed off today.
The office of the State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau are due at the scene today.
A green area nearby has also been sealed off by gardaí.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out and its results will determine the course of the investigation.
