A player in Mayo has won the top prize of €500,000 in tonight's Euromillions Plus Draw, it has been revealed.
The National Lottery shared the good news in a post on Twitter.
The winning numbers were 4, 6,12, 28 and 29.
There was no winner of the Euromillions main jackpot of €41,402,488. The numbers drawn were 1, 2, 15, 30 and 35 while the Lucky Stars were 2 and 7.
Meanwhile the Irish Lotto has not been won since June.
The operator of the National Lottery is now seeking regulatory approval for a must-win draw.
CEO of Premier Lotteries Ireland, Andrew Algeo, told the Oireachtas Finance Committee on Wednesday that the jackpot of €19 million was winnable, and the long wait was "highly unusual".
