All services are resuming at Tallaght Hospital in Dublin following a power outage that lead to the postponement of outpatient appointments today.

Day procedures for adults and children, including radiology X-ray appointments and blood tests, were among the services impacted.

Dialysis, oncology and haematology appointments were not affected

In a statement the hospital said it regretted "that the emergency situation led to the postponement of appointments for today" and that "they will be rescheduled as quickly as possible in the coming weeks".
