A further 1,380 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Northern Ireland today.
The Northern Ireland Department of Health said that no further deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.
This morning, there were 92 Covid-19 patients in hospital, with two in intensive care.
After yesterday's daily figures exceeded 1,000, Stormont health minister Robin Swann said the rising numbers are a "cause for concern".
"We need everyone to play their part in helping to stop the spread of the virus," he said.
"Our advice remains the same, stick to guidelines and regulations, all adults aged 18 and over should get vaccinated, and ensure you and your close contacts self-isolate if you test positive.
"Unfortunately, we are seeing an increase in cases in the younger age group so I would make a particular appeal to this group to get vaccinated.
"Covid-19 has left many with debilitating long-term health issues, don't put yourself at risk, get the vaccine.
"We all want to enjoy the summer but we must continue to do it safely."
To date, 2,153,395 vaccine doses have been administered in Northern Ireland.
A number of walk-in vaccination centres are planned in a bid to get as many people vaccinated as quickly as possible in Northern Ireland.
One such mobile vaccination clinic will be in operation this weekend before the Armagh vs Monaghan match at Páirc Esler in Newry.
The clinic will be open from 1.15pm to 3.15pm tomorrow, where over-18s can get their first dose of a Pfizer vaccine. Those wishing to avail of the vaccine are advised to bring ID and their health and care number.
