A man in his 30s has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault in Longford town last month.
A man in his 20s received a number of leg wounds in the incident which happened in the Glebe View area of the town on Friday, 16 April.
Gardaí believe he was assaulted by a number of men outside a house.
The man is due to appear before Longford District Court this evening.
