Gardaí have arrested eight people in Dublin city centre as part of a policing plan around a planned protest.
Six men were detained for offences under the Health Act, while a man and a woman were held on Public Order offences.
Six of those arrested have been charged and released on station bail.
Two people remain in garda custody.
