A man has been arrested after gardaí seized nearly €50,000 of cannabis in Cork city yesterday.
The man, who is in his 40s, was arrested during the search of house in the Riverstown area of Glanmire.
Gardaí discovered 22 suspected cannabis plants, at various stages of growth, worth approximately €16,000 and also seized €32,800 of suspected cannabis herb.
The man will appear at Cork City District Court later today.
