A 42-year-old man being questioned in connection with the murder of a mother of three in Cork city yesterday has been released from garda custody.
A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Nicola Collins, 38, who was originally from Tralee, Co Kerry but living at Togher in Cork, was found by emergency services in a flat on the Popham's Road, Farranree, early yesterday morning.

She had sustained head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man, who is originally from Charleville, was arrested nearby.
