Rain replaces snow in parts of Wicklow

Heavy snow which fell earlier in parts of County Wicklow has been largely replaced by rain this afternoon.

There is a blanket of snow on fields and in woods on higher ground in the county, but main roads are wet and snow which has fallen on roads in recent hours has mostly melted.

However, it remains cold and an ice warning will be in place until tomorrow morning.
