A man in his 30s has died following a road collision involving a car and an e-scooter in Dublin last night.
The collision occurred on the Old Navan Road in Blanchardstown at around 10.50pm.
The man, who was on the e-scooter, was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, but was later pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported.
The road was closed for a technical examination, but has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses, particularly any road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area between 10.40pm and 11pm, to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
