Law firm Mason Hayes & Curran has appointed Helen Dixon as a Global Digital Regulatory Consultant within its Data & Technology team.
The company said that Ms Dixon will further enhance its capabilities in data and technology regulation, and platform governance.
Helen Dixon is a former Commissioner of both the Data Protection Commission and Commission for Communications Regulation.

In her new role, Helen Dixon will support clients in an increasingly complex regulatory environment shaped by emerging EU and global rules regulating data, technology, AI and content.
Philip Nolan, Chairperson and Head of Data & Technology at Mason Hayes & Curran, said that digital regulation is rapidly expanding and evolving along with increased enforcement.

Mason Hayes & Curran said that Ms Dixon will not consult on any matters in which she had decision-making involvement during her previous tenure at the Data Protection Commission and the Commission for Communications Regulation.
