Accountancy and advisory firm Ifac said today it has bought three established regional practices - Con Dolan Accountants in Cavan, Peter Moore & Company in Mullingar, Co Westmeath, and Michael G Murphy Accountants in Charleville, Co Cork.

Ifac said today's deals will further strengthen its position as a specialist professional services firm for the farming, food, agribusiness and SME sectors.

It said that each of the three practices bring strong regional reputation, deep client relationships and extensive experience advising farming families, food producers and SME business owners.

John Donoghue, the chief executive of Ifac, said these three acquisitions represent another important milestone in the company's national growth journey.

"Each firm has built a strong reputation for trusted, high-quality advice and deep local relationships. That alignment of values is critical for us," he said.

"As one of Ireland's top ten accountancy and advisory firms, our strategy is clear: to combine a strong local presence with national scale and specialist expertise. We are continuing to grow, to invest and to strengthen our capability so that our clients have access to the very best advice, wherever they are located," he added.
