The euro zone's adjusted current account surplus fell to its lowest level in nearly three years in November, data from the European Central Bank showed today.
The 20-nation currency bloc had an adjusted surplus of €8.6 billion in November, its lowest level since January 2023. It had been at €26.7 billionjust a month earlier.
In the 12 months to November, the surplus declined to 1.7% of euro area GDP, down from 2.7% one year earlier.
