The National Treasury Management Agency said today it plans to issue €10 billion to €14 billion of bonds over the course of 2026.

The NTMA said it will issue a statement at the beginning of each calendar quarter outlining its bond auction plans for that quarter.

It said it also intends to conduct at least one syndicated bond deal during the year.

As in recent years, the NTMA said it does not expect to issue Treasury Bills next year.

Dave McEvoy, the NTMA's Director of Funding and Debt Management, said the €10-14 billion bond funding range announced today for 2026 reflects the €15 billion in debt maturities next year.

"The strong Exchequer funding position means we are well positioned entering 2026," he added.
