Aer Lingus has launched new express bag drop kiosks for passengers who check in online.
The kiosks are now available in Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport, Shannon Airport, and Belfast City Airport for regional flights, with Cork Airport set to get them in the coming months.
Passengers using the Aer Lingus mobile app can now tag and drop their checked bags in under two minutes, the airline said.
Around 80% of the airline's passengers check in online, meaning most customers can take advantage of the new system.
"Our new express bag drop kiosks, combined with our refreshed Aer Lingus mobile app, reflect our commitment to intuitive technology and customer-focused design," said Susanne Carberry, Aer Lingus Chief Customer Officer.
"We know our customers want control over their journey, from checking in online at home to being guided to their gate by the app.
"Express Bag Drop is another innovation that saves time and ensures a smooth airport experience," she added.
