Irish technology consultancy firm Konversational has announced its expansion into the US with the opening of its first office in New York.
The move is anticipated to generate over €5m in revenue and create up to 40 new roles at its US base within the first year.
The Dublin-headquartered company currently employs 80 IT professionals across six locations including Dublin, London, Paris, Nantes, Zurich and Munich.
Founded in 2020, Konversational provides customer service technology to clients.
The US launch comes less than 18 months after its expansion into France, Germany and Switzerland.
"Expanding into the United States is a significant milestone for us and one that we have been building towards since opening our Dublin headquarters less than five years ago," said John Gilleran, the co-CEO of Konversational.
"The US market alone represents a tremendous growth opportunity for Konversational," Mr Gilleran said.
Richard Guy, co-CEO of Konversational, said the expansion into the US represents a natural evolution of the company's growth journey.
"The scale of our success in Ireland, the UK and in Europe has built a strong foundation for us to now bring our proven methodologies, tools, and talent to the biggest market in the world," Mr Guy said.
Aidan McKenna, Regional Director, Americas at Enterprise Ireland said it supports Irish companies such as Konversational to enter and scale in the US.
"Konversational has been hugely successful across Europe and now brings this success to the US market to enhance customer experiences and accelerate digital transformation for US companies," Mr McKenna said.
