Emirates has unveiled its newly retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft on its Dublin to Dubai route.
The airline is now the only carrier to operate a four-class offering from Dublin featuring its new Premium Economy cabin, a refreshed Business Class, and enhanced interiors across all cabins.
The launch is part of Emirates' $5 billion cabin retrofit programme, the largest known upgrade project in aviation history, which aims to refurbish 219 aircraft by 2026.
Since launching its refurbishment programme in 2022, Emirates has upgraded the interiors of 60 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft, now serving 38 destinations.
By the end of this year, the airline will serve over 70 cities with aircraft featuring the latest interiors across its Boeing 777, A380 and A350 planes.
Anita Thomas, Emirates Country Manager for Ireland, said there is strong and growing demand from Irish passengers looking for elevated travel experiences.
She said the airline's new Premium Economy cabin has been extremely well received.
"It bridges the gap between Economy and Business Class with a level of comfort and value that appeals to both our leisure and corporate passengers. The introduction of our retrofitted aircraft on the Dublin route, alongside our global network via Dubai, marks a significant enhancement in comfort and choice for travellers," she stated.
The CEO of Dublin Airport operator daa, Kenny Jacobs, said that Emirates has been a valued partner of the airport since 2012, and its upgrade underscores its ongoing commitment to delivering a world-class experience for passengers.
