Ryanair flew a total of 200.2 million passengers in its fiscal year to the end of March, largely as forecast, making it the first European airline to carry 200 million passengers in one year.
This marked an increase of 9% on the 183.7 million passengers it carried the previous year.
The airline said today that it flew 15 million passengers in March, an increase of 10% on the 13.6 million passengers it carried the same month last year.
Ryanair said it operated over 84,000 flights in March.
Its load factor for the month - how many seats its fills on each flight - was 93%, unchanged from March of last year.
The airline, Europe's largest by passenger numbers, cut its forecast for the coming year for the second time in three months in January to 206 million passengers from 210 million due to Boeing aircraft delivery delays.
