A national recruitment campaign has been launched aimed at attracting a diverse range of skilled people to pursue careers in disability services.
The National Federation of Voluntary Service Providers is behind the initiative which underscores the importance of addressing recruitment and retention challenges within the sector, while also highlighting the work undertaken by staff in member organisations.
The federation represents 53 voluntary and non-statutory agencies that provide services to people with intellectual disabilities and autism in Ireland.
In total, their member organisation's support over 26,000 individuals and their families.

The "Choose a Career Where Your Values Matter" campaign is designed to demonstrate the positive impact working in disability services can have on staff and the people they support.
"Each individual we support has their own potential, goals, and rights," said CEO Alison Harnett.
"To empower the people we support to achieve these, we need staff with the necessary skills and values," she said.
"This campaign is about finding those individuals and connecting them with the fulfilling careers available within our network," Ms Harnett said.
