Primark, which operates as Penneys in Ireland, has announced an investment of over €25m to support its expansion plans in Poland.
Primark said it plans to open three new stores, creating up to 400 new jobs for the Polish market.
The expansion will bring Primark's total number of stores in the country to 10 and increase its retail space by over 25%.
It said the new stores will be located in Felicity in Lublin, Biała Shopping Centre in Białystok and a second location in Warsaw in Promenada.
The openings are scheduled for the retailer's 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 fiscal years.
Primark has over 450 stores across 17 markets and continues to expand around the world.
Primark opened its first store in Poland four years ago in Galeria Młociny, Warsaw and has since grown to seven locations with stores in Poznan, Krakow, Katowice, Wroclaw, Lodz and Bydgoszcz.
Primark also continues to expand its presence in Central and Eastern Europe and ended 2024 with 16 stores in six different markets.
Maciej Podwojski, Head of Primark CEE said that business development in the Central and Eastern Europe region remains a top priority for the retailer.
"Poland is a key market for us, and Primark continues to expand its presence here. Since opening our first store just 4 years ago, we have built and grown a remarkably strong business with a loyal and ever-expanding customer base," Maciej Podwojski added.
