Endeavor Ireland has today confirmed that The Edge will continued as chair of the non-profit organisation for an additional term.
Endeavor is a global organisation with a mission to support and accelerate high-impact entrepreneurs, for the benefit of their local economies.
It also said today that Aileen Hayes has taken up the position of Endeavor Ireland Managing Director.
Aileen's previous roles include Director of Commercial Growth & Astronaut Readiness at Virgin Galactic, Head of Customer Journeys at Virgin Media and Strategy Consultant with Oliver Wyman.
She has worked with a range of entrepreneurial focused organisations and initiatives in Ireland including the role of director at Endeavor since July 2022, supporting startup funding raising.
Aileen succeeds Rory Guinan, who was Endeavor Ireland's first Managing Director.
Endeavor Ireland also today announced the appointment of two new Board members - Barry Napier, founder of Cubic Telecom - and Samuel Dennigan, founder of Strong Roots.
The two men were the first two Irish founders to progress through the International Selection Panel and join the Endeavor Global Network.
Endeavor actively works with 15 founders from across 11 Irish companies including Cubic Telecom, Strong Roots, LearnUpon, Wayflyer, Gym+Coffee, XOCEAN, Keelvar, Therapie Group, Sculpted by Aimee,Overhaul and Raylo.
Together these companies employ over 3,000 staff and collectively generate revenues exceeding €600m.
Aileen Hayes said she was delighted to be taking the role of Endeavor Ireland's Managing Director.
"Since joining, I have been inspired by the ambition of the Irish founders we work with, and the potential of the global network to support our homegrown talent. Endeavor and I will remain dedicated to empowering high-impact Irish entrepreneurs to grow globally, creating positive change for the island of Ireland," she stated.
"As a Board we're very proud of the impact Endeavor is having on the entrepreneurial ecosystem," The Edge said today.
"We've built an amazing community, we are only getting started. I want to pay tribute to Rory Guinan for helping us to get Endeavor Ireland off the ground since 2019," he said.
"Rory's expertise and dedication has been highly valued by the Board and the founders that have engaged with Endeavor, and on behalf of the Board I want to thank him sincerely and wish him well as he moves on," he added.
