Cork Airport is starting a new four-times weekly service to Glasgow in Scotland, which will be operated by Emerald Airlines on behalf of Aer Lingus Regional.

Flights will operate from Cork to Glasgow on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

Aer Lingus Regional will operate the service using an ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft, with 72 seats.

As well as the new Glasgow route, Aer Lingus Regional has increased capacity on its Cork to Bristol service by adding three extra flights per week.

Ian Lough, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines, said today's added routes give customers even more choices and show the airline's dedication to providing greater convenience and travel options across its entire network.

Head of Aviation Business Development & Communications at Cork Airport, Tara Finn, said that Glasgow is a very welcome addition to the airport's UK Provincial network and complements its existing Edinburgh service.
