Insulation and building materials manufacturer Kingspan said it now has a majority stake of 62.6% in Nordic Waterproofing Holding after it bought a 26.5% stake in the company on Friday.
Nordic Waterproofing is a leading provider of waterproofing solutions in Northern Europe with a presence in 10 countries.
Co Cavan-based Kingspan said this marks a further significant milestone in the growth of its global Roofing & Waterproofing division.
Kingspan said the latest stake purchase, together with the recent acquisition of IB Roofing in the US and its existing business, takes the group's annualised consolidated Roofing & Waterproofing revenues to about €1 billion.
This is before the impact of its organic expansion in the US which is advancing at pace, and any further acquisition activity, the company added.
