WHOOP, a US wearable technology company has opened its new office in Limerick.
50 employees from across the country will now have access to the workspace.
WHOOP, which is based out of Boston, Massachusetts, produces technology that tracks science-backed metrics including heart rate variability, resting heart rate and respiratory rate.
The company is valued at around $3.6 billion.
"We’ve been operating and recruiting from Ireland for almost four years and we haven’t looked back since," said Tina Stokes, AVP of Membership Services.
"We’re delighted to now be able to provide a central hub in Ireland.
"It’s a really exciting time for WHOOP and we’re thrilled to have a base in Ireland from which we can develop as a company, and a community," she added.
