Nicola O'Brien, the chief financial officer and executive director at Permanent TSB, is to leave the bank.
In a statement, the lender said Ms O’Brien would be leaving in the coming months to take on a new role elsewhere.
Ms O’Brien was appointed to the role of CFO in August of 2022 after a two year long search for a candidate to fill the position.
She had previously been the head of finance and investor relations at PTSB which she joined in 2017.
She also held senior positions with Bank of Ireland in the past and had worked in consulting.
"Nicola has played an important role in supporting the Bank on its journey to grow and diversify its business," said PTSB CEO Eamonn Crowley.
"I wish to acknowledge the commitment she has shown to the Bank throughout her tenure and wish her every success in her future career."
Ms O'Brien was the first woman to be appointed as CFO in an Irish bank.
