Irish farming, food and agribusiness specialist professional services firm Ifac has announced a deal to buy Dublin-based MCC Accountants & Financial Advisors Ltd.

MCC's accountants, auditors, taxation and business advisors provide compliance, business advisory and Corporate Finance services to SMEs with a specific focus on the pharmacy and retail sectors.

The firm will now operate under the Ifac name.

Ifac said today's deal solidifies its position as a top ten accountancy firm in Ireland and the leading provider of expert-led services to the country's fast-growing SME community.

CEO of Ifac, John Donoghue said, said this latest acquisition is part of the group's continuing growth strategy to deepen its expertise and services to all its clients.
