OMC Group in deal for James Roche Consulting Engineering

Consulting engineering company OMC Group has announced a deal for Galway-based consulting engineers business, James Roche Consulting Engineers.

OMC said the deal for James Roche Consulting Engineers, which has been operating in Galway since the late 1970s, represents a significant addition to its portfolio.

OMC have offices in Clifden, Galway City and Dublin and oversee projects throughout Ireland.

Looking ahead, OMC said it has plans to complete two additional acquisitions in 2024, while the company's expansion efforts are expected to create 20 new jobs nationally.

Founded in 2012 as Enda O'Malley and Associates, the company rebranded to OMC in 2023.

OMC completed its first acquisition in late 2022 with the incorporation of O’Halloran Engineering.
