Liam McCaffrey is to retire as chief executive of Mannock Holdings at the end of next month.
The 61 year old will be replaced current chief financial officer, Dara O'Reilly.
Mr McCaffrey will remain on as a non-executive director on the board of the company.
Brenda Rennick, the firm's finance director, is to take over as chief financial officer.
The news of the personnel changes came as Mannok reported lower turnover for the year to the end of December 2023.
Turnover was down 1.8% on the previous year to €311.9m, largely driven by sales price deflation for insulation and plastic packaging products.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) in the period were up 74% to €44.9m.
"Having supported our customers through several years of oppressive inflationary pressures, Mannok was pleased to see margin recovery during 2023 as cost absorption pressures eased somewhat," said Mr McCaffrey said.
"Investments in excess of €100m in the business over the past nine years has seen a doubling of turnover and a seven-fold increase in EBITDA, while also increasing employment by more than 150 employees in the same period," he added.
Mr McCaffrey said this is important progress as it embarks on substantial investment in decarbonisation measures during the coming years.
Dara O'Reilly described the pricing environment for last year as "mixed".
"We saw price reductions in insulation and plastic packaging, driven by lower input costs which helped offset some of the inflationary pressures of recent years," he said.
