AIB has made three new senior appointments to its Retail Banking team, which has over three million personal, mortgage and SME customers and 170 branches.
Adrian Moynihan has been appointed as Head of Consumer at the bank and will lead the strategy for its branch network and customer contact centres.
He has over 20 years' experience in financial services in Ireland and the UK with AIB, holding leadership roles in retail, business and corporate banking, wealth management and transformation.
Ciara Ryan takes up the role of Head of Wealth at AIB Retail, comprising customer financial planning and insurance teams.
Her remit will also include management of the partnership between AIB and the newly formed business, AIB life - a €250m joint venture with Great-West Lifeco that offers life and pensions products to AIB customers.
She has domestic and international retail banking, investment and insurance experience in AIB, Goodbody and M&T Bank in the US.
Meanwhile, Olaf Fitzsimmons has been appointed as Head of Business Innovation and Adoption for AIB's Retail division.
He has held senior roles leading large customer facing teams, including Head of SME and Corporate Banking at Ulster Bank.
AIB's Managing Director of Retail Banking Geraldine Casey said the trio's wealth of experience will be instrumental in ensuring that AIB continues to deliver a step change in meeting the needs of its customers across Ireland.
