EY launches new Sustainable Finance Innovation Hub in Dublin

EY has launched a new Sustainable Finance Innovation Hub in Dublin.

The hub aims to help financial institutions around the world accelerate their efforts to meet their environmental, social and governance (ESG) regulatory and reporting requirements.

EY said its financial services sustainable finance team will more than triple in size over the coming months, with an additional 40 specialist hires planned.

"The addition of 40 specialist hires across the three pillars of ESG will see our Dublin hub become a globally significant centre for innovation in the area of sustainable financial services," said Colin Ryan, EY Ireland Financial Services Country Lead.

"The sector must comply with an increasing volume of regulatory requirements over the coming years, and many firms already face multiple deadlines this year alone.

"Our new hub will support firms to more effectively report on their activity and will help clients ensure that they remain compliant with the evolving regulatory environment," he added.

The new hub is projecting double digit growth over the next twelve months as it ramps up to meet growing client demand around the world.
