Laya Healthcare is opening a new €3m Health & Wellbeing Clinic in Swords Business Campus in Swords, Co Dublin.
The new Swords clinic will increase the nationwide network of Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinics to four. It also has clinics in Galway, Limerick and Cherrywood in Co Dublin.
As part of the new opening, 25 new jobs will be created at the North County Dublin clinic, including clinical and administrative teams.
As with all Laya Health and Wellbeing clinics, it will be open 365 days a year from 10am to 10pm and will offer a range of health and wellbeing services including walk-in urgent care for the treatment of minor injuries and illnesses as well as X-Ray, MRI, Ultrasound and Dexa scans.
Laya Healthcare said it has seen an increased demand for the clinics year on year and in the past year alone footfall has increased by over 50%, with minor injuries being the highest reason for clinic presentations.
John McCall, Director of Claims and Provider Relations at Laya, said the new Swords clinic is in response to the ongoing demand for its existing clinic services.
"Our clinic will offer members and non-members alike access to an array of healthcare services from preventative wellbeing all the way through to the treatment," Mr McCall said.
