International Workplace Group (IWG) is opening four new flexible workspaces in Blanchardstown and Blackrock in Dublin, Clonmel in Co Tipperary and in Limerick as it said the demand for hybrid working rapidly accelerates in Ireland.
The company operates through brands such as Space, Regus and HQ.
IWG said that by bringing additional high-quality office space to Clonmel, Blanchardstown, Limerick and South Dublin, it is enabling local people to experience living in a "15-minute" city, allowing workers to work close to their homes without commuting far from where they live.
It said the new Regus centres in Clonmel and Blackrock and the HQ locations in Limerick and Blanchardstown will attract businesses of various sizes, from startups to established enterprises, and will foster a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem.
IWG said these businesses contribute to job creation, as companies utilise local talent and often hire from the surrounding community. They also stimulate economic activity by increasing foot traffic to nearby amenities such as restaurants, cafes, and retail stores bolstering the local hospitality and service sectors.
The new workspace in Limerick will be IWG's first HQ branded business centre in Ireland and will be located in the Penthouse, River Court Business Centre, on Limerick's Cornmarket Row.
Covering 4,000 square feet it offers workstations, private offices and parking available adjacent to the centre which can be accessed via private lift.
The 5,000 square feet HQ site in Blanchardstown Corporate Park 2 will complement IWG's Regus in Blanchardstown Corporate Park 1. IWG noted that Blanchardstown is one of its fastest growing locations with demand for workspaces in the area performing strongly/
Meanwhile, the Regus workspace at The Ormond Centre in Clonmel includes 10,500 square feet of workspace complete with over 160 workstations and includes private offices, meeting rooms and creative spaces - all of which will open in the third quarter of this year.
And Regus will also occupy 11,568 square feet of Temple House, an office building in Blackrock, Co Dublin. Opening in the second quarter of this year, it will include workstations, private offices, meeting rooms and creative spaces.
Mark Dixon, CEO and founder of IWG, said the company is establishing a stronger and much-needed footprint in Ireland with multiple centre openings this year.
"The need for high-quality flexible workspaces continues to soar as hybrid working becomes the new normal. We are very pleased to work in partnership with four new Irish partners under management agreements that will add a cutting-edge workspace to their buildings," Mr Dixon said.
"Our openings in Dublin, Limerick and Tipperary come at a time when more and more companies are discovering that flexible working boosts employee happiness and satisfaction, while helping the environment," the CEO said.
"Our workplace model is also proven to increase productivity and allows for a business to scale up or down at significantly reduced costs," he added.
