Uisce Éireann, the national water authority, said today it is recruiting for 700 new jobs across the country.
It said the new roles will span a range of disciplines and will include positions for tradespeople at all levels, recent graduates as well as skilled workers.
The new jobs will include front-line operations, science and engineering, administration, communications, management and IT.
Uisce Éireann said it is committed to providing ongoing training, and attractive compensation and benefits packages to ensure a secure and fulfilling work experience.
Uisce Éireann's People and Safety Director, Dawn O'Driscoll, said this is the largest recruitment announcement made by the company so far, adding that they reflect the scope and scale of the activities it is carrying out nationwide.
"We are looking for people with diverse skillsets to play their part in delivering transformative water services that enable their local communities to thrive," she added.
