Drinks group C&C Group has appointed Andrew Andrea as its new chief financial officer.
Mr Andrea will join the Bulmers and Magners cider maker as CFO and executive director on March 1, 2024.
C&C said that Ralph Findlay, who has served as the company's executive chair since May 2023, will revert to the role of non-executive chair following a short transition period after Mr Andrea joins the group.
Mr Andrea has served in senior roles at UK brewing and pub retailing business Marston's for over 20 years. He joined Marston's in 2002 and was appointed to the Board as Finance Director in 2009.
He served in a variety of senior roles in the business including 12 years as CFO and Corporate Development Officer and, then as CEO during which time he navigated the business out of the Covid pandemic and the subsequent challenging macroeconomic environment.
He also held roles with Guinness Brewing Worldwide and Bass Brewers Limited.
Patrick McMahon, C&C Group CEO, said that Mr Andrea brings a rare depth of experience within the industry to C&C.
