JYSK UK and Irish turnover tops €100m for first time

UK and Irish turnover at Danish furniture and home furnishings brand JYSK has exceeded €100 million for the first time.

It annual results show turnover was up 11% on 2022 to €106m.

Over two million customers made a purchase during the year, up 14% on the previous year,

Nine new stores opened across the UK and Ireland over the past 12 months, creating 100 new jobs.

JYSK Ireland opened its 21st store in Beacon South Quarter in Dublin, while the UK opened its 30th store in Warrington.

"This year has been a successful trading year for JYSK, and we are delighted to exceed the €100 million turnover for the UK & Ireland," said Roni Tuominen, Country Director for JYSK UK & Ireland.

"We have invested in key areas of the business in Ireland with our new head office and opening in the Beacon South Quarter.

"We are very excited for 2024 where we'll continue to get closer to our customers through expansion and with great offers in our developing assortment," he added.

The company has plans to open more stores in the coming months in Liffey Valley, Kilkenny and Sheffield.

JYSK operates more than 3,300 stores in 50 countries.
