The Ireland Chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI) has announced the winners of this year's National Project Awards, in association with PwC.
The awards recognise the contribution of project management to the country's success both nationally and internationally and celebrate the best in innovation and talent in this area.
The winners this year were:
PMO of the Year - Boston Scientific Galway Equipment Engineering PMO
Project Management for Social Good - Supporting 500+ Migrants in Galway - Migrant Collective Galway / AMDAF.
Private Sector Project of the Year - AIB Life - Saol Assurance DAC
Public Sector Project of the Year - The Republic of Ireland Retail Hub Relocation Project - ESB Networks / NIE Networks
Project Professional of the Year - James Louttit.
Innovation in Technology Category - LiDAR Survey & Modelling Methodology - National Broadband Ireland
Jackie Fagan, President of the Ireland Chapter of PMI, said this year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Irish Chapter, which signifies a quarter-century of commitment to excellence in project management.
"More than that, the calibre of projects that we saw this year was outstanding and signifies a level of innovation that is truly inspirational," Jackie Fagan said.
