A new all-island growth programme targeted at women entrepreneurs has been announced.
Grow It All Island will give 30 business founders – 15 from Northern Ireland and 15 from Ireland – access to a fully-funded growth programme.
It is being provided by Women in Business NI and Network Ireland, with support coming from InterTradeIreland's Synergy initiative.
"Our members are excited to see this collaboration and build connections and trading opportunities with the businesses in the north," said Emma Early Murphy, president of Network Ireland. "This is hopefully the first of many projects between our two organisations."
"For many small business owners in Northern Ireland, they look to the UK markets first but this collaboration is designed to open up the potential of an All Island approach," said Roisin McDermott, head of entrepreneurship at Women in Business.
"Bringing a total of 30 women owned businesses and providing them with an opportunity to become part of a supportive all-island network where participants can learn, achieve and scale."
The programme will start in December, running for six months, and aims to help entrepreneurs develop their businesses across the island, as well as overseas.
It will also give attendees advice around developing leadership skills, raising investment and improving branding and marketing.
The course involves a number of away days and face-to-face 'masterclasses’, with support and mentorship coming from EY Entrepreneur of the Year alumni.
The programme is accepting applications until Friday, 3rd November.
