Online bank Revolut said today it has added more than 70 European-listed companies to its investment offering in Ireland.
Revolut said that investments in European-listed companies are accessible with the minimum investment amount of just €1. Trading will be commission-free within allowed subscription plan limits. it added.
It said today's announcement marks another step for customers to diversify their investments in a flexible way.
With access to more than 70 European-listed stocks, more than 2200 US-traded companies and over 150 Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), it said that users can check the performance of their investments within the Revolut app.
Rolandas Juteika, Head of Wealth and Trading (EEA), said the fintech continues to make investment space more accessible for everyone by starting to add some of the largest European-listed companies to its trading platform.
"We want to bring our customers easy access to companies that are closer to them. From Adidas to Zalando, our customers can now invest in well-known European names and we will soon expand this list further," he said.
"A comprehensive range of other investment products is coming soon - including robo-advisor services, mutual funds, bonds, and a more sophisticated trading platform for experienced traders," he added.
