100 new jobs are to be created by a new two-person heavyweight collection and delivery service.
Nügo will move large items like furniture, white goods, DIY products, electronics and other goods weighing over 30kg for businesses in the Republic of Ireland.
The company is a subsidiary of the newly formed Nuvion group, which also includes Fastway and Parcel Connect.
€10m is being invested in the business initially.
The firm aims to grow revenue to over €15m over the next three years.
"Through extensive market analysis, we pinpointed critical gaps within the heavyweight delivery sector," said Liam Hennessy, the Managing Director of Nugo.
"Coupled with the exponential surge in e-commerce, Irish enterprises recognise the unprecedented surge in demand for home delivery of big-ticket items, calling for more tailored and seamless delivery solutions."
The business will offer its services throughout the Republic of Ireland from centralised depots in Dublin, Kilkenny, Limerick, Cork, Galway, Laois, Wexford, and Sligo.
Very, Oxendales, and Woodies are among the retailers that Nügo has already secured partnerships with.
Along with track and trace and a delivery notification system, Nügo will also offer traceability for the licensed disposal of electrical equipment under the WEEE programme.
