Renatus takes majority stake in W.H. Scott Engineering

Irish and UK SME investor, Renatus Capital Partners, has acquired a majority stake in Wicklow based engineering firm, W.H. Scott.

The value of the investment and the size of the stake has not been disclosed.

The money is to be used to support the growth plans of W.H. Scott.

Mr Doyle is to continue leading the group following the investment.

Headquartered in Rathnew, Co Wicklow, W.H. Scott Group designs, fabricates, supplies, inspects and certifies equipment used in regulated lifting and industrial markets.

It operates in Ireland and the UK, from a number of depots.

It is the tenth investment by Renatus from its new €60m fund, backed by the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund.
