Environmental, health, and safety company EHS International is to create at least 80 new jobs over the next year.
The firm has officially launched today with an investment of €5m with new Irish offices in Monahan Road in Cork and in Ballymount in Dublin.
The investment also includes a 1.5-acre state-of-the-art fire and rescue training facility, which is being developed in Little Island, Cork.
EHS currently has a staff of 20 and will add at least 80 roles both nationally and internationally over the next year.
Recruitment is underway for senior specialists and graduates in safety, environment and related management areas.
"Companies require a comprehensive, single-source service provider for their essential environment, health, and safety needs and not a variety of suppliers," said EHS International chief executive Chris Mee.
"We want to help our clients save time and money while ensuring they are getting the best advice, assistance, and results," Mr Mee said.
EHS offers services including consultancy, training, occupational health, recruitment, and fire safety to businesses nationally and internationally.
The company is an amalgamation of five companies in Cork, Dublin, Belfast and London.
EHS said it is committed to further strategic acquisitions over the next 12 months.
