Airline e-commerce platform Datalex has reported a 24% increase in total revenue to $12.9m for the six months to June on the back of new customers and existing customers investing in technology after the Covid pandemic.
Datalex said its adjusted earnings loss of $3.1m was $1m bigger than at the same time last year.
The company's half year services revenue jumped by 61% to $6.1m compared to the same time last year, while platform revenue of $6.3m was up by 7%.
Datalex landed a big client in the half year with the signing of LATAM, the biggest carrier in Latin America.
It also said it successfully renewed contracts with four key airline partners during the six month period, including Air China, Air Transat, JetBlue and Edelweiss.
But the SAS airline in February confirmed it would not proceed with Datalex's NDC Product due to increased Chapter 11 cost commitments.
Earlier this month a US bankruptcy court approved a settlement between Datalex and SAS which resulted in a payment from SAS to Datalex and allowed a general unsecured claim by Datalex, which will be dealt with through the Chapter 11 process.
Meanwhile on September 13 and after an internal review of its next generation programme priorities, Virgin Australia said it would end its partnership with Datalex.
"While this is a disappointment to both Datalex and the Virgin Australia teams who have worked on this project for over 18 months, the parties have reached a mutual agreement on the terms of the cancellation," the company said.
Sean Corkery, outgoing chief executive of Datalex, said today he was satisfied that the company is now seeing the benefits of airline recovery.
"In addition, we are executing well and investing in activation of new customers which will fuel additional transactions in 2024," he added.
Earlier this month, the company appointed Jonathan Rockett as its new chief executive and he is due to join the board early in the fourth quarter of the year.

He will work alongside Sean Corkery until the end of the year to ensure a seamless transition.
Mr Rockett joins Datalex from Ding, where he currently occupies the role of Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
He also previously held senior positions in Paddy Power, which is part of Flutter Entertainment, and PwC.
