Bank of Ireland customers have conducted 2.35 million banking transactions in post offices around the country since the launch of the bank's partnership with An Post two years ago.
These transactions were worth over €1 billion.
The partnership allows customers to carry out a range of banking services, including cash lodgements and withdrawals and cheque lodgements.
Over 140,000 transactions are now carried out each month at about 900 post offices nationwide.
Susan Russell, CEO Retail Ireland, Bank of Ireland, said the bank's partnership with An Post continues to go from strength to strength, providing access to cash and other banking services to customers nationwide.
"With over two million transactions recorded in the past two years, the partnership is working exceptionally well and there is strong demand for our services provided through the extensive An Post network," she added.
Debbie Byrne, Managing Director of An Post Retail, said that reaching the milestone of over two million transactions underlines its commitment to providing access to cash and everyday banking services in post offices across the country and on our islands.
"Our strategy continues to create a sustainable post office network innovating with new product and services. Our successful partnership with Bank of Ireland ensures citizens and small businesses can do their daily banking, lodging and withdrawing cash with ease six days a week," Ms Byrne said.
